The long-time expected update

Ah, yes.. it was about time! I know, I know that I totally let this blog die and it's entirely my fault. But today I remembered that I had a myspace account, so everything can happen.. right? I guess there's some kind of weird magic surrounding me that makes me remember things such as log in information, passwords, etc. *lol* That's always good!

Anyway, it's been almost a year since my last update.. which is a very long time. There's tons of things that have changed since that moment, and others simply remain the same. I doubt any of my old visitors will check this blog without me telling them first, not because they're not my friends anymore [luckily that's not the case! :)] but I'm pretty sure that the lack of updates must have made them forget all about it *lol* Now, back to my year update. Let's see.. where to start?

First of all, I broke up with the guy who was my bf back then.. like in October. Since my last post mentions him I thought it was worth some kind of explanation *lol* We were different, things weren't the way they were supposed to be and we kept fighting over stupid [and no so stupid] things, which made our relationship really awkward to the point that there was no coming back. Blah blah blah, he's not in my life anymore. Tho he did contact me some months ago, still don't know why, but oh well.. men are weird - that's not breaking news, is it?

There is a certain guy that catches my attention. Like, all the time *lol* I got an email the other day [not from him tho] stating 17 things you do when you're in love. I was really shocked/amazed/annoyed/worried when I realized that I did almost all of them when it comes to this guy. And I reacted like that cause it scares me the fact that I don't know much about him [and I don't know if he's into me either, cause if he is then he's not letting it show as much as I would like him to *lol*]. Some people did ask me out in the last months, but I didn't want to say yes. First because I wasn't attracted at them, and second cause this guy is all over my head now, so it's pretty useless to date someone else [and it's not like I actually want him to get out of my head either :P]

On other news, I started working back in November.. YAY me! *lol* I'm working at a company that does cartoons in all sorts of animation [2D, 3D & Flash] for big kick ass tv channels such as Cartoon Network, Fox and Disney. I'm quite happy with what I do there and the working environment is also really cool. My co-workers really rock, I have a real blast everytime I have lunch with them [which is everyday *lol*]. The only bad thing about it is that I'm working 9 hours a day and that I also go to university, which leaves me with little time to do other things [that does explain the lack of posts, right? *lol*]. I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time for studying and everything so last semester I chose 2 subjects instead of the regular 3, but in the end I managed to find time for it. So now I went back to choosing 3 subjects again.. I hope everything will go just as fine! Next Thursday I need to check if I got them assigned, so there's no need to worry just yet *lol*

University is going fine, I'm in the second half of my 4th year [out of 5] and really happy because we've formed a really nice group there [I was about to say "top-notch" but then I've been repeating that word in my head for all day long.. so much that it's not even funny anymore *lol*]. Anyway, we're lucky that most of the times we can match our busy schedules to be in the same classes together :)

I went to see Robbie Williams in the end, and what can I say? The show was amazing! :) I really really enjoyed it, and would LOVE to go again if he ever comes back. I also went to see Bryan Adams' show with one of my best friends.. it was awesome as well. And of course, my favorite moment was when he played "Summer of '69".. oh that song has such a strange power on me, makes me all happy and bouncy! :D
I did miss this one show that I'd have killed to see tho. Coldplay came to my city, but they played in an extremely small venue and the tickets went POOF in a second. I would have loved to see them live, but now I'll have to wait.. argh! They said they'll be coming back to do a stadium in 2008, so I'll trust them for now.. I guess not everyone is under the effect of Backstreet Time, right? *lol*

Right now I definitely want to see Bodies... The Exhibition. It's a bit shocking, yes. But it seems to be very educational as well and a great thing to see so it's made it onto my to-do list :)
