About freedom and... hair *lol*

I'm feeling:

Hey ya! What's up people?

Yesterday was our Independence Day.. it didn't happen much.. just the regular celebrations. Next year is gonna be the 190º anniversary of our independence, so that's probably going to be more interesting *lol*
What was really emotional was that at the zero hour of July 9th all tv channels stopped their normal broadcastings and they all showed one of our most popular singers singing our National Anthem at our "little house of Tucumán", the place where all the patriots got together to declare our freedom :)
It was really nice cause this woman sings not just with her voice, but using sign language as well.. and in the end all people started screaming "¡Viva la Patria!".. That's when I got tears in my eyes.. damn, I'm such a softie *lol*
I can't seem to find a right translation for the word 'patria'.. my dictionary says: native land, mother country.. but it's so much more than that.

Anyway, on a lighter note.. I bought a shampoo that's supposed to make more intense the tone of my hair.. it's special for brunettes, so I'll see what I get haha :D It seems to be more bright and it looks as if the color has been reassured.. but who knows? It's still wet, so I can't tell... *lol*
